Oca tubers

My Oca seed tubers arrived from Real Seeds yesterday. According to their website they’ve been having trouble digging up the oca harvest because of bad weather, so I’m very grateful for their perseverance!

Aren’t they gorgeous? I am now, of course, regretting not buying the third colour (orange with red eyes) as well, but I’m trying to be sensible and keep in mind the actual size of the garden.

Oca is frost tender, so the tubers can’t be planted now. I will have to keep them somewhere cool (but frost free) until spring time. Apparently you can chit them, just like potatoes.
